一、美國文化交流中心簡介
意昂4平台美國文化交流中心位於校園中心位置，所處樓宇為意昂4歷史保護建築，始建於1915年，2019年被納入全國重點文物保護單位。2010年，設計師Andy Sigfrids完成了中心內部設計，2011年正式投入使用，向全校師生以及公眾開放。
中心一樓由接待室、客廳🍊、信息室及會客室構成；二樓由報告廳、畫廊、圖書館構成，報告廳可容納30人🤟🏻；三樓則由會議室及閱覽室構成，會議室可容納20人，配有遠程會議設備𓀘。
美國文化交流中心自2011年起，已與美國柯蒂斯音樂學院、北達科他大學、康考迪亞大學🧖、阿茲塞太平洋大學、麥諾特州立大學等合作，聯合開展了系列藝術活動，舉辦音樂會🦻🏻、藝術展、講座💇🏼♀️、教學工坊等活動逾300場，約32750名學生🙌🏻💆♂️、教師、校外人士及國際友人參加，為相互交流學習提供平臺。
同時，中心也已與美國密蘇裏大學、安博瑞德航空航天大學🤯、北達科他大學、伯克利大學哈斯商學院等高校廣泛開展校際交流與合作項目👨🚀👈🏽，更好服務於意昂4師生🧑🏽🏫。
USST-ACC Introduction
The American Culture Center (ACC) at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) is housed in a historic building in the Center of the university campus in eastern Shanghai. Originally designed by American architect Henry Killam Murphy in 1915, the building was renovated in 2010 for use as a cultural Center. The interior design consultant was an American architect living in Shanghai, Andrew Sigfrids.
The first floor was designed to have the look and feel of an American family home and includes a reception hall, living-room, information room and parlor. The second floor of the house includes a lecture hall that holds 30, an art gallery, and a library. The third floor includes a conference room for 20 guests, with an interactive video system, and a reading room. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Supported by the Music Department of the University of North Dakota, and cooperated with universities like the Curtis Institute of Music, Concordia University, Azusa Pacific University, Minot State University, ACC has continuously held concerts, and offered programs like lectures, workshops, and short residencies to support its mission to promote understanding between China and the United States by creating opportunities for students, scholars, artists, and professionals to meet, exchange ideas and learn from each other. Since its opening, ACC has hold more than 300 events and more than 32,750 students, faculty, community members, student groups from neighboring public schools and universities, and international visitors have attended ACC public events and exhibits, either in site on the USST campus, or at other sites on and off campus.
ACC has also carried out students’ exchange programs with University of Missouri, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, University of North Dakota, and University of California-Berkeley Haas School of Business for USST faculty and Students.

二、藝術橋梁Art Bridge

From 2010 to 2020, the American Culture Center built an art bridge so that every USST faculty and student can experience different art events and broaden horizon. “In such a campus, any thoughtful student can not but feel that he lives in a big world.”
